Chris Griffin attended Loyola Marymount Univerisity where he earned a Bachelor of Business Adminstration in 1984. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1987.

While attending Southwestern University School of Law, Chris worked as a law clerk for a large Workers' Compensation Defense Firm, assisting in trial preparation involving third party recovery and subrogation issues.

After being admitted to the California Bar in 1988, Chris founded what would later become Griffin Lotz & Holzman and opened the Woodland Hills office in 1990. He became a Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist in 1996 and has represented carriers and employers in Workers' Compensation Defense, Subrogation, 132[a] fillings, and S&W petitions for over 20 years. Chris is a member of the Los Angeles Country Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and a frequent lecturer for the Insurance Education Association. Chris is the managing partner of Griffin Lotz & Holzman.
